In December 1982, a sole proprietor, Leon Chaplin, Jr., established Leon's Fence & Home Improvements to install fence and guardrail for private, state, county, and government sectors.  On July 9, 1999 the company became a Limited Liability Company and changed the name to Leon's Fence & Guardrail, LLC.

The owner acquired experience by working for various fence and guardrail companies as a supervisor and erector of fence and guardrail projects.  While performing in that capacity, direct measures to organize a company were pursued.

Later years in operation, prime contractors awarded projects to Leon's Fence & Guardrail, LLC to subcontract work. The company built a rapport and reputation with contractors and started bidding as a fence and guardrail subcontractor.  Thereafter, the company expanded in the areas of small highway signs, delineators and encapsulated lens installation.  In addition, the company bids as a prime contractor and awarded projects directly.

The mission of Leon's Fence & Guardrail, LLC is to provide those affiliated customers with high quality service,  performance and installation of fence, guardrail and highway signs so that the integrity and craftsmanship will continue to promote the company's growth.
